Sports Morning Juniors (School Games Day)

Date

June 18, 2019

Details

Dear Parents/Carers,

We would like to confirm that – weather permitting – Our School Games Day will be held on the morning of Tuesday, 18th June 2019, at 10.00am. Parents are welcome to join us for the event. Please enter school via the gate by Fielders, where your name will be taken and the name of the child/children you are supporting. The event will finish at approximately 12pm.

Cameras are permitted, but please can we remind parents that NO photographs are permitted to be shared on any social media sites, or published in any format. Any photograph taken should be purely for family use.

If the weather is very hot, please send your child into school with a sunhat/cap and sun cream. Please ensure your child knows how to apply the sun cream safely and sensibly as staff are not allowed to assist with the application of sun cream. All children MUST bring a water bottle. Pupils who win events will be given 1st, 2nd or 3rd stickers and everyone will be encouraged and praised for their efforts.

All pupils will be given house points for how well they do in the different activities and will also receive house points for demonstrating the School Games Values: honesty, passion, self-belief, determination, teamwork and respect during our School Games Day. The house points will be added together and will be added together to find out which house is the winner on our School Games Day and will also be added to the house
points they accumulate during the school day.

As it is an Intra School competition every child can either wear their Olton Primary white t-shirt or they can wear a t-shirt in their house colour (red: Coughton, blue: Charlecote, yellow: Baddesley Clinton, green: Packwood House). Please ensure your child is wearing the correct PE kit including black shorts/grey joggers and trainers.

We look forward to seeing you and having a lovely morning.
Thank you for your support.

Mrs Hosier
