National Numeracy Day - Wednesday 21st May

Just a reminder that we are celebrating National Numeracy Day tomorrow.
The main aim of the day is to celebrate all things
mathematical!

The children are invited to come into school wearing a top
that has a number displayed somewhere on it. This can
include football shirts, t shirts, jumpers etc. Or they can
simply use a sticker to display a number of their choice. This
should be worn with their normal school uniform e.g.
trousers or skirt.

Children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 may choose
to wear a top that is the colour of their favourite numicon or
numberblocks number.

We would like all children to then prepare three facts about
their chosen number.
For example, child might choose the
number 50. Their three facts could be:
 - It is an even number
 - Half of 100 is 50
-  5 groups of 10 make 50

Thank you for your ongoing support.
