A Strong Sense of Belonging
At Olton Primary School, children in Chipmunks Nursery wear a simple school uniform from the academic year before Reception.
Wearing uniform helps to:
- Build a strong sense of identity and belonging
- Promote our shared values and school community
- Encourage independence and responsibility
- Support a smooth transition into Reception
Our uniform is practical, comfortable and suitable for active, play-based learning.
Nursery Uniform
- Charcoal grey cardigan or jumper (plain or with school logo)
- White polo shirt (plain or with school logo)
- Grey jogging bottoms, leggings, trousers or pinafore
- Sensible black shoes (Velcro fastenings are recommended to support independence)
- Optional blue gingham dress in the summer term
- A small pump bag containing a change of clothes
We encourage families to clearly label all items of clothing to help children develop independence and ensure belongings are easily returned.
