Dear Parents and Carers,

Our school will be taking part in Hello Yellow on Friday 9th October to raise awareness and funds for YoungMinds, the UK's leading charity for young people's mental health.

Many young people are struggling with their mental health right now, and that's why days like Hello Yellow matter. By teaching young people to explore their feelings, how to talk about them and who to reach out to for help, we're giving them the tools they need. By raising funds for YoungMinds, we're helping ensure they have access to support when it matters most.

We'll be taking part by turning the school yellow! We're inviting children to wear something yellow to school on the day — this could be a yellow T-shirt, jumper, socks, hair accessory or even just a small touch of yellow. There is absolutely no need to buy anything new.
Please note, if children do not wish to wear yellow, it is uniform as normal.

Cash donations can also be brought into school and given to class teachers on the day. Every donation, no matter how small, helps YoungMinds continue its important work supporting children and young people with their mental health.
