Learning Together, Achieving More.
Good afternoon Parents/Carers of Year Two Pupils,
This is a gentle reminder the payment of £17.00 is due on or before a week on Friday 4 April 2025 for the above trip. Thank you to the Parents/Carers who have already paid.
As you are aware, should we not receive sufficient funds to cover the cost of the trip by lunchtime on the 4th April, the trip will be cancelled, and any payments received will be refunded.
We have to comply with the cancellation charges/deadline dates set by the venue/coach companies, which in many cases, is why we have to ask for payments well in advance for trips/events. This will ensure should we have to cancel the trip/event, we would be following the correct process, and not charged as a school for the cancellation outside of the given notice period.
If you are aware your child will not be attending the trip, can you kindly let me know by return and I can remove the payment from your ParentPay account.
Many thanks
Kind regards
Mrs T Chakmak
Finance Officer

Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had another fabulous day of fundraising today. Thank you for the additional coins that were sent in to complete the coin collages which look stunning as you can see from the pictures. There have been lots of interesting discussions about how much the collages are worth with all of the coins on so we will look forward to sharing the total.
We had the Oak KS2 house market at breaktime today and they raised a staggering £241.35. Tomorrow it is the turn of Birch so if your child is in KS2 and in Birch, please send them in with any items they have to sell at the market.
After school today, we hope you will stop by to purchase a sweet treat at the infant cake sale which will be on the Year 1 playground.
We really appreciate your support.

Deputy Head Teacher
Dear Parents/Carers,
Please can I remind you that any requests for absence for Eid must be made on a Leave of Absence form and submitted to school two weeks prior to taking the leave. We are aware that the actual date for Eid is not confirmed until nearer the time, so when completing the form please put the approximate date(s), which you can confirm once you have been advised of the date. Only one day will be authorised for Eid. For ease, a Leave of Absence form is attached with this letter, which you can complete and return via email, but you can also collect a paper copy from the office.
If a Leave of Absence Form is not completed the absence will be unauthorised.
Thank you for your continued support.
Regards,
Mrs Y Jones
Office Manager
(Nb. A Leave of Absence Form can be found on the 'Letters Home' page )
Good afternoon, we are all looking forward to starting our Charity Week sponsored events tomorrow in support of Kids Village.
For KS2, we shall be walking around Jubilee Park tomorrow morning. I have just been for a late afternoon walk around there myself and the paths and grassy areas are not too wet. However, please make sure that KS2 children come prepared with suitable footwear and a warm/waterproof coat just in case! Thank you to all the volunteers who have offered to help tomorrow morning- please can you arrive at the reception area by 9.05. We are planning to leave at 9.15am and I have booked the sunshine for the event!
Also tomorrow, we have our annual science fayre which will start at 2pm until 2.45pm in the school hall. Please use the old junior entrance for signing in. The gadget shop will also be on after school tomorrow from 3pm and will be outside Panda's classroom.
Many thanks for your support,
Mr Chamberlain
Head teacher
Dear Parents/Carers,
We have had some amazing projects in school so far this week on the theme of ‘Change and Adapt’ in celebration of British Science Week. If your child has not yet brought in their project, please bring the project in as soon as it is complete so that they will have the opportunity to share with their class.
In addition to this we will share the children’s work in the following ways:
In Nursery, Reception and Year 1, on Friday 14th March 2025, the teachers will have the projects available for you to come into the classes after school to see until approximately 3:30pm.
For Years 2, 3, 4 ,5 & 6, on Friday 14th March 2025, the children who have completed projects will be in the hall to share and demonstrate their projects to parents. During this time, the overall winners will be judged. Parents are invited into school to see our Year 2 – Year 6 Science exhibition between 2pm and 2:45pm.
Please enter school via the old junior entrance that we used for parents’ evenings. Awards for the projects will not be awarded until assemblies in the following week.
We hope to see you at our Science exhibition.
Yours sincerely,
Mr L Chamberlain Mrs E Gray
