  • Charity Sponsorship and Bank bags

    Thu 23 Jun 2022

    Good afternoon Parent/Carers,

Can we kindly ask for all sponsorship money to be sent into school by tomorrow morning please. This will ensure this is all counted and recorded by the afternoon.

In addition, if anyone works in a bank, and is able to help us by providing as many bank bags as they can, could these be dropped into the school office.

    Many thanks

    Kind Regards

  • Charity Week 2022 Events

Tue 14 Jun 2022 Mr Chamberlain

    Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to attached our flyer with all of the events we are holding as a school to support our 2022 Charity Week. In 2019 and 2020 combined we raised over £9,000 for regional and national charities and we are looking forward to supporting St Basils and WaterAid this year.

Volunteers are requested to help the KS2 sponsored walk on Friday 17th June at 10.45am. (We have changed the time because of the sunny weather!)

We look forward to sharing with you how we fundraise next week and our grand total too.

Thank you for your continued support

  • Year 6 - Go Ape Trip

    Tue 07 Jun 2022
    Good morning, Parents/Carers,

As you are aware for the past two years, we have been unable to take the children out on trips due to COVID.  It is only recently that we have started to book trips again for all year groups.

Year 6 have booked a trip to Go Ape at a cost of £22.40 per pupil.

The payment for this trip was due on or before yesterday 6 June 2022.  However, it has been agreed to extend this until 9am tomorrow morning, 8 June 2022.  After which, a decision will be made if the trip can or cannot go ahead.  The decision will need to be made by tomorrow at the latest, to ensure we as a school provide the venue/transport company with notice, so we do not get charged.

As it stands now, the school has only received 30% of contributions.

Thank you to all those Parent/Carers that have made the payment.

    Many thanks
    Kind regards
