Our School Art Exhibition was a huge success!
We would like to thank everyone who was able to attend our children’s Art Exhibition - it was a great event celebrating the creative talents of our pupils. The children had the opportunity to see their artwork displayed in their very own gallery. We are sure you will agree that their pictures looked absolutely wonderful!
There is still the opportunity for you to buy your child’s original framed art if you would like to do so.

If you would still like to purchase your child’s original framed picture:
please complete the details below and return to the school office by Tuesday 28th November along with payment of £8.25 per picture in cash, or cheque made payable to H.Bryant. Thank you.

Dear Parents, Carers and Artists,
We are delighted to invite you to our celebration of Arts Week which we held before half term. On Monday 20th November between 2:30pm and 5pm our talented EYFS and KS1 Artists will have a beautifully framed piece of 2D artwork professionally displayed alongside some of their 3D sculptures. On Tuesday 21st November between 2:30pm and 5pm our KS2 children will have the opportunity to showcase their successes from Art Week too. Some of you will remember in 2019 that we had a similar Images Art Exhibition and you were able to either pre-order or purchase your child’s framed artwork. Alongside this email is a copy of the order form if you wish to buy a framed artwork. Please check your child’s bag today for a paper copy letter which you can return in a sealed envelope with your child’s name, class and total amount of money enclosed. This needs to be returned to school either before the Exhibition or alternatively, purchase can be made on the day. Following the Exhibition, we shall have the framed Art in school for a further week.
Best Wishes,
Mr L Chamberlain

Good morning Parents/Carers of Year 6,
We are really pleased to confirm the above trip will be going ahead on 12 December This is due to several kind Parents/Carers paying additional funds to ensure this could happen. Thank you to each and everyone of them.
We were able to reinstate the Venue and the Coaches late yesterday afternoon/evening.
I am sure this will bring many smiles to the children in school today.
Many thanks
Kind regards

14th November 2023
Good morning Parents/Carers
We have made a difficult decision to cancel the Holdenby House trip due to insufficient funds to cover the cost of both the coach and activity. Like many schools, our budget is very tight, and we are unable to further subsidise school trips which are an enrichment to the curriculum.
We shall look with the year 6 trip team to find a different opportunity for the children to enrich their knowledge of World War 2.
Thank you for your understanding and we recognise that this is disappointing to all.
If you have paid, I will arrange a refund through ParentPay before the end of this week.
Many thanks
Kind Regards
Mrs T Chakmak

Good afternoon Parents/Carers
We wanted to update you with regard to the above trip.
As it stands now, the amount outstanding is £256.75.
We have contacted the Venue/Coach Company who have both kindly given us an extension until 12 noon tomorrow, to confirm if the trip is to go ahead or if it is to be cancelled. If we do not receive the full amount outstanding by 1145am tomorrow Tuesday 14 November 2023, the trip will be cancelled. I am sorry if this should happen, but as a school, we are unable to fund this.
Once again thank you to everyone who has paid, and if the trip is cancelled you will receive a full refund.
Many thanks
Kind Regards

Dear Parents/Carers,
Rags2Riches4Schools Recycling Scheme
We have signed up to the Rags2Riches4Schools recycling scheme, to help others around the world benefit from our good quality unwanted clothes and shoes. We get 40p for every kilo we collect of reusable items that will go towards New equipment for our school and would be most grateful if you could help us with this challenge at home. Bags will be available to collect from the Main meadow reception.
Bag(s) can be brought into school on:
Monday 13th November 2023
Please bring to the main Meadow Reception where there will be a trolley to place your bags – Morning Only
Mark the black bag(s) with ‘R2R’
Please help us to help others and raise much needed funds for our school. Thank you for your continuing support.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs L Napier
Family Support Worker
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO RAISE MONEY FOR OUR SCHOOL
Do you have clothes in your wardrobe that you no longer wear, maybe last year’s fashions, or that buy that was too good to leave but it’s not really you after all?
Please help us fundraise by donating your good quality unwanted, re-useable (clean, dry and wearable) clothes and accessories.
(please pair and tie shoes together)
Your donations become affordable clothing in other countries.
So please DO NOT send poor quality, dirty or wet items, and no duvets, pillows, curtains, books, CDs or bric-a-brac.
STOP and THINK - is it something you’d wear out and about yourself or pass to a friend? If not, no-one else will want to buy and wear it either, so unfortunately it’s not reusable and can’t go in the bag.
Even if it’s only one t-shirt please bring it in, as it will all help our school.
If you can involve family, friends and neighbours please do.
We truly appreciate your support in helping raise additional funds for our school for the benefit of our children.
There’s no better feeling than knowing you raised funds, helped the economy, the environment, and somebody on the other side of the world – and all by donating some clothes.
If we can fill 100 black bags, we’ll have half a tonne!
Please bring your donations to school:
