    Fri 28 Oct 2022

Good Evening Parent/Carers of our Reception children,

Trust, you have all had a lovely half term.

This is just a reminder; that we have invited Wonder-dome into school on 7 November 2022 for all Reception children. There is a small charge of £3.60 per pupil to cover the cost. The payment is due on or before 2 November 2022 (next Wednesday).

Unfortunately, if we are unable to meet the cost of the event, this would need to be cancelled.  A decision will be made by Mr Chamberlain on 3 November 2022 if this is the case.

In the event this is cancelled, if you have already made payment, you will receive a full refund.

Thank you to those Parent/Carers that have already paid so far.

    Many thanks

    Dear Parent/Carers,

This is a reminder the payment due date for the Time-zone event is due on or before the Monday 31 October 2022.  Thank you to the Parent/Carers that have already made the payment.

A decision will be made on Tuesday 1 November 2022 if the event is to go ahead/cancelled based on the contributions received.  I have already sent barcode letters home for this event over 2 weeks ago, to all Parent/Carers who do not have a ParentPay account set up.

Any queries then please let me know.

    Many thanks

    Kind Regards

  • Olton Book Fair - One last day!

    Mon 17 Oct 2022

    Dear Parents/Carers,

Our first in-house book fair was a brilliant success and I would like to say a huge thank you to all those parents who bought books or the educational book bundles. As soon as the book bundles arrive, I will distribute these to the children to bring home.

A few Junior children have asked me this morning if they can still visit the fair as they were unable to visit on parents' evening nights due to the fair being based in the Meadow Reception Area. As we have a few junior books still on sale, I will be opening up the book sale for one last day tomorrow (Tuesday 18th October) during lunchtime (11:45am - 1:00pm) and will be based in the entrance to the junior library. If you would like your child to have the opportunity to purchase a book, please send them in with money for tomorrow. Our junior age range books are priced at either £3 or £4 and we are a cash only book fair.

    King Regards

  • Olton Primary Book Fair

    Mon 10 Oct 2022

    Hi Everyone,

Tomorrow night will be our first night of the book fair. We will be based in the Meadow's reception area between 3:30 and 6:15pm so please pop along. We have lots of books on offer priced between £2 and £4. I have attached a leaflet which features some of the books on offer.

We will also be selling book bundles (3 books - maths, reading/phonics and writing/handwriting) priced at £9 (usual price £12). If you would like to purchase these to work on at home with your children, you can order these at the book fair and either pay on the night or we can add this to parent pay. The book bundles must be paid for by the end of Friday so that we can process the order. Once they have arrived, we will distribute them to the children to bring home.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

  • Year 6 Holdenby Trip

    Mon 03 Oct 2022

Good afternoon Parent/Carers of Year 6,

Further to the letter and email that was sent out last Friday regarding trips, you will see the Holdenby trip for year 6 was originally  charged at £19.90 per child.  It was agreed due to the current issues we are all experiencing, the school would help by contributing £10.00 maximum per pupil, leaving a balance of £9.90 to pay.  If you had made the full payment of £19.90 for this trip, you will see I have refunded your ParentPay account with £10.00.

Currently, we have insufficient funds to make the trip viable on Wednesday even after we have applied the 10.00 credit. Can we kindly ask if you have not made the payment of £9.90, if you can do so by the end of today, and a decision will then be made tomorrow by Mr Chamberlain as to whether or not this trip can go ahead.

    Many thanks

    Kind Regards
